Third-party case manufacturers have jumped the gun ahead of the expected announcement of Apple’s iPhone SE 4 this week. Japanese accessory brand Power Support has already listed at least six cases for the upcoming device, showcasing a render that hints at several design changes.
One of the biggest takeaways from these images is the apparent removal of the silent switch, which seems to have been replaced by the Action button—first introduced on the iPhone 15 Pro. The render also confirms the presence of a single rear camera module, maintaining the SE lineup’s traditional design approach.
MagSafe support confirmed for iPhone SE 4
Another significant detail from Power Support’s listings is the confirmation of MagSafe compatibility. The company states that its cases support magnetic wireless charging and other MagSafe accessories, bringing a premium feature to Apple’s budget-friendly iPhone.
Power Support’s cases cost S$69.90 to S$89.90. Power Support also offers screen protectors at S$69.90 and S$129.90.
Meanwhile, Spigen, another well-known case manufacturer, has also published several cases for the iPhone SE 4. These renders provide a first look at the front of the phone, reinforcing rumours that the device will feature Face ID, eliminating the need for a physical Touch ID button. However, Spigen’s designs also include a notch, contradicting well-known tipster Evan Blass’ claim that the new iPhone SE will introduce Apple’s Dynamic Island.
Uncertainty over camera layout and official launch date
One aspect still up in the air is the orientation of the rear camera. Power Support’s listings showcase three cutouts—one vertical, two squarish, and three horizontal—suggesting uncertainty about Apple’s final design. Spigen, however, has opted for a horizontal layout in its case designs.
Apple is expected to announce the iPhone SE 4 via a press release later this week, and retail availability is anticipated to follow the following week. According to reports, the device’s starting price is set at US$499.
