Splunk launches advanced observability and security solutions for Microsoft Azure customers

Splunk and Microsoft launch native solutions on Azure, enhancing digital transformation with AI-powered observability and security tools.

Splunk, a global leader in cybersecurity and observability, has announced the general availability of its enterprise security, observability, and platform solutions on Microsoft Azure. This partnership aims to accelerate organisations’ digital transformation journeys while improving security resilience through unified, scalable solutions.

Tom Casey, Senior Vice President of Splunk Products & Technology Group, stated, “Splunk’s strategic partnership with Microsoft to build Splunk natively on Azure demonstrates our commitment to advancing digital resilience to help our customers and partners remain secure and up and running at every step of their cloud journey.” He added that the collaboration integrates enterprise data to deliver robust hybrid-cloud solutions that align with organisations’ digital transformation strategies.

Solutions powered by Splunk AI enhance performance and security

The launch includes Splunk Cloud Platform, Splunk Enterprise Security, and Splunk IT Service Intelligence, all built natively on Microsoft Azure. Powered by Splunk AI, these solutions provide comprehensive visibility, rapid threat detection, and optimised responses to ensure agility and flexibility in software-as-a-service (SaaS) offerings.

By leveraging Splunk on Microsoft Azure, customers gain access to data-driven insights that enhance innovation, strengthen security, and improve infrastructure and application performance. Existing Splunk customers can migrate their on-premises or self-managed cloud deployments to Azure, allowing organisations to focus on critical initiatives rather than managing infrastructure. Customers with a Microsoft Azure Consumption Commitment (MACC) can also utilise their commitment toward Splunk services.
