Sharp launches new Aquos Tru GN7000X series in Singapore

Sharp's new Aquos Tru GN7000X TV series, now available in Singapore, offers advanced features for an enhanced viewing experience in films, gaming, and streaming.

Sharp has unveiled its latest innovation in home entertainment, the Aquos Tru GN7000X series, designed to enhance the viewing experience for films, gaming, and streaming. Available in 55-inch, 65-inch, and 75-inch models, the new series promises to meet consumers’ varied needs with its superior performance and elegant design.

The GN7000X series integrates the latest smart TV technology, including Google TV, and features like Dolby Vision IQ and Dolby Atmos to deliver an unmatched audio-visual experience. Whether it’s watching a high-octane action film or streaming a favourite series, these TVs are built to provide a panoramic and immersive viewing experience.

Advanced technology for unmatched clarity and sound

Sharp’s commitment to technological excellence is evident in the GN7000X’s Full Array Local Dimming (FALD) system, which enhances visual contrast and delivers vivid imagery by precisely controlling the light across the screen. This technology, coupled with the Deep Chroma Display, enhances colour accuracy, offering more than one billion colours and nearly matching the colour gamut used in digital cinema.

The series is powered by the X6 Revelation Processor, which supports advanced image processing technologies like MEMC (Motion Estimation, Motion Compensation), ensuring smooth motion in fast-paced scenes and optimising picture quality based on ambient lighting conditions with Dolby Vision IQ. Additionally, Dolby Atmos provides a rich, multi-dimensional sound that enhances the overall entertainment experience.

Tailored features for gaming enthusiasts

The Aquos Tru GN7000X series is also an excellent choice for gamers, featuring technologies such as Aquos Smooth Motion, Variable Refresh Rate (VRR), and Auto Low Latency Mode (ALLM). These features ensure seamless and responsive gameplay, which is crucial for games requiring quick reflexes and precise actions. VRR synchronises the TVโ€™s refresh rate with the gameโ€™s frame rate to eliminate visual tearing and stuttering, while ALLM ensures the TV automatically switches to low-latency mode when connected to gaming consoles.

These gaming features make the GN7000X series particularly effective for fast-paced first-person shooters, expansive role-playing games, and complex, massively multiplayer online role-playing games. They provide gamers with crisp visuals and smooth, immersive experiences.

Availability and pricing

The Aquos Tru GN7000X series is now available for purchase. Customers can find these state-of-the-art TVs at the Sharp CocoroLife estore, Shopee, Lazada, and through selected retailers such as Best Denki, Challenger, Courts, Gain City, and various dealer stores across the island. The series is priced at S$2,127 for the 55-inch model, S$2,552 for the 65-inch model, and S$3,403 for the 75-inch model.
