Samsung unveils new Galaxy A56 5G, Galaxy A36 5G and Galaxy A26 5G with AI features

Samsungโ€™s new Galaxy A56 5G, A36 5G and A26 5G bring AI features, advanced cameras, and durability with up to 6 years of updates.

Samsung has introduced the latest additions to its popular Galaxy A series โ€” the Galaxy A56 5G, Galaxy A36 5G, and Galaxy A26 5G. For the first time ever, Samsung is bringing its AI-powered features, known as Awesome Intelligence, to the Galaxy A range. These new devices also offer improved durability, longer software support, and strong security features to make sure you have a reliable and safe mobile experience for years to come.

TM Roh, President and Head of Mobile eXperience (MX) Business at Samsung Electronics, said: โ€œThe new Galaxy A Series marks an important step in our mission of AI for all, by opening Galaxyโ€™s incredible mobile AI experiences to even more people around the world. With these awesome new features and capabilities, we are excited to unlock limitless creativity on the Galaxy A Series while ensuring a safe, reliable and fun mobile experience.โ€

AI tools and creative camera features built in

With Awesome Intelligence, you get access to easy-to-use AI tools that can make your phone smarter and more helpful. These features, powered by One UI 7, are designed to make everyday tasks quicker and more fun.

One of the most popular AI tools from last year, Circle to Search, returns with new upgrades. You can now search for anything you see on your screen just by circling it. Whether itโ€™s a product, phone number, email address, or website link, you can take action with just one tap.

Thereโ€™s also a new music recognition feature built into Circle to Search. If you hear a song playing on social media or nearby, you can long press the navigation bar, tap the music icon, and instantly find out the songโ€™s name and artist.

Samsung has also upgraded the camera experience, especially for content creators. All three phones come with a 50MP main camera, and both the Galaxy A56 5G and Galaxy A36 5G support 10-bit HDR front camera recording for brighter, clearer selfies. The Galaxy A56 5G goes a step further with a 12MP ultra-wide lens to capture more in every shot.

If you love taking group photos, the Galaxy A56 5G includes a handy Best Face tool. This lets you choose the best facial expressions for up to five people from a motion photo and combines them into one perfect shot. Even if someone blinked or looked away, Best Face fixes it seamlessly. On top of that, Low Noise Mode has been added to the 12MP selfie camera, helping you take clearer low-light selfies.

To make editing easier, all three models come with Object Eraser. This tool lets you remove unwanted objects or people from your photos, either by selecting them yourself or letting the phone find them automatically. Thereโ€™s also a Filters feature, which lets you create your own custom filters by using the colours and styles from existing photos. Whether you want to match a certain mood or keep a consistent look, these tools help you personalise every shot.

Built to last with brighter displays and longer software support

Samsung has also improved the durability and lifespan of the new Galaxy A series. Youโ€™ll get up to six generations of Android OS and One UI updates, along with six years of security updates. This ensures your phone stays up to date and performs smoothly for longer.

The Galaxy A56 5G and Galaxy A36 5G both feature a large 6.7-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED display with a peak brightness of 1,200 nits. This makes the screen brighter and easier to see outdoors. The phones also come with new stereo speakers, giving you richer, more balanced sound.

All three models have a long-lasting 5,000 mAh battery, which can keep you going for up to 29 hours of video playback on the Galaxy A56 5G and Galaxy A36 5G. These two phones also support 45W fast charging with Super Fast Charge 2.0 technology, so you can top up your battery quickly.

In terms of performance, the Galaxy A56 5G runs on the Exynos 1580 processor, while the Galaxy A36 5G is powered by the Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 chipset. Both phones come with a larger vapour chamber to help keep the device cool during gaming, video streaming, or multitasking.

Samsung has also made the devices more durable. All three models, including the Galaxy A26 5G, now have an IP67 rating for water and dust resistance. This means they can handle accidental spills or dust without trouble. Each phone also comes with an upgraded Corning glass cover to help protect against scratches and cracks.

Stronger security and privacy with Samsung Knox Vault

You also get Samsung Knox Vault on all three models, giving you an extra layer of security to keep your personal information safe. Samsung has included the latest privacy features in One UI 7, such as Theft Detection and enhanced security settings, so you have more control over your data.

Samsung is also bringing Digital Key to the Galaxy A56 5G and Galaxy A36 5G, allowing you to unlock compatible cars with your phone. This feature will be available in certain countries across Asia, Europe, and North America, with more regions to follow.

The new Galaxy A Series comes in a range of colours to suit your style. The Galaxy A56 5G is available in Awesome Light Grey, Awesome Graphite, Awesome Olive, and Awesome Pink. The Galaxy A36 5G comes in Awesome Lavender, Awesome Black, Awesome White, and Awesome Lime, while the Galaxy A26 5G is available in Black, Mint, and Peach Pink.
