Pre-registration for Assassin’s Creed Shadow is now open

Ubisoft has opened pre-registration for Assassin’s Creed Shadow, including for Mac, with special editions and exciting pre-order bonuses.

Ubisoft has officially opened pre-registration for its highly anticipated game, Assassin’s Creed Shadow. Despite a recent delay, the latest instalment in the Assassin’s Creed series is now available for pre-order across multiple platforms, including Mac.

Delayed release dates and platforms

Initially set for release on November 15, 2024, Assassin’s Creed Shadow experienced two delays. The game was rescheduled to February 14, 2025, before being pushed again to its new release date of March 20, 2025. Fans have been waiting eagerly for this new chapter in the popular series, and now, with pre-registration open, they can secure their copies before launch.

The game will be available on various platforms, including PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, PC via Steam, Epic Games, and the Ubisoft Store. Ubisoft has also made the game accessible for Mac users, available on the Mac App Store. This broad availability ensures that Assassin’s Creed Shadow can reach many players.

Special editions and pre-order bonuses

Ubisoft offers two special editions and the base game for those looking to enhance their experience.

The Digital Deluxe Edition includes the base game, the “Sekiryu Dual Pack”, featuring gear and weapons for Naoe and Yasuke, the “Sekiryu Hideout Pack”, which adds cosmetics for your hideout, and Mastery Points.

The Collector’s Edition is the perfect choice for fans seeking something even more exclusive. This edition includes everything in the Digital Deluxe Edition, plus a wealth of physical content. You’ll find a Steelbook, a World map, a Naoe & Yasuke figurine, Naoe’s life-sized Katana Tsuba, a Wall Creed Scroll, a 76-page collector’s artbook, and two Sumi-e lithographs.

In addition to these editions, Ubisoft is offering pre-order bonuses for eager fans. Those who pre-order the game will gain early access to the Claws of Awaji expansion, which includes a new open-world region packed with over 10 hours of additional content. The expansion will also introduce new skills, gear, and a new weapon for Naoe. On top of that, players who pre-order will receive access to an exclusive quest, Thrown to the Dogs, at launch.

System requirements for pc players

Ubisoft has released the game’s specifications for PC players. The minimum processor required is an Intel Core i7-8700K, AMD Ryzen 5 3600, or better, along with either a Nvidia GeForce GTX 1070, AMD Radeon RX 5700, or an Intel Arc A580 Graphics Card.
