POCO launches F7 Series in Singapore with high performance and affordability

POCO launches F7 Ultra and F7 Pro in Singapore, offering flagship features, strong performance, and early bird gifts from 27 March.

POCO has officially launched its latest flagship smartphones, the POCO F7 Ultra and POCO F7 Pro, in Singapore. Aimed at delivering high performance without compromising on value, the F7 Series introduces new levels of power, efficiency, and design while maintaining accessibility for a wider audience.

Angus Ng, Head of Product Marketing at POCO Global, said, โ€œWith the POCO F7 Series, we’ve made cutting-edge technology more accessible than ever. For the first time, we are introducing an Ultra model that takes power and performance to a new level for POCO. By blending flagship features with exceptional pricing, the launch of POCO F7 Ultra and POCO F7 Pro marks a significant leap forward, reflecting our commitment to continuously refreshing the user experience and empowering users to maximise their potential in work, play, and creativity.โ€

Performance and cooling redefined

The POCO F7 Ultra runs on Qualcommโ€™s latest Snapdragon 8 Elite Mobile Platform, built on a 3nm process by TSMC. The chipset offers up to 45% faster CPU and 44% improved GPU performance, while reducing peak power consumption by 52% and 46% respectively. The device scored an impressive 2,843,461 on AnTuTu, making it well-suited for intensive tasks like gaming and multitasking.

POCO also introduces its first dedicated graphics chip, the VisionBoost D7, based on a 12nm process. It enhances gaming with features like Smart Frame Rate at 120FPS, 2K Super Resolution, and Game HDR. For streaming, the Dual-core Visuals technology improves resolution, frame rate and HDR quality on platforms like YouTube and Netflix.

Xiaomi HyperOS 25 powers both models, incorporating HyperCore, HyperConnect, and HyperAI for smoother performance, better connectivity, and smarter system management. WildBoost Optimisation 4.0 also ensures stable frame rates and responsive gameplay even in demanding titles such as Genshin Impact at 2K and 120FPS, all while keeping temperatures low.

The POCO F7 Pro is equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset and also benefits from Xiaomi HyperOS 25 and WildBoost Optimisation 4.0. It supports gameplay up to 120FPS and Genshin Impact at 90FPS.

Both devices feature LiquidCool Technology 4.0, with a 3D dual-channel IceLoop system and a large 5400mmยฒ loop heat pipe that lowers the SoC temperature by up to 3ยฐC during prolonged use.

Long battery life and fast charging

Battery life sees a major upgrade, with the POCO F7 Ultra featuring a 5,300mAh battery and 120W HyperCharge for a full charge in just 34 minutes. It also supports 50W wireless charging. The POCO F7 Pro offers an even larger 6,000mAh battery with 90W HyperCharge support.

Both models incorporate POCO Surge P3 and Surge G1 chipsets to optimise charging speed, efficiency, and battery lifespan. Even after 1,600 charging cycles, the battery retains more than 80% of its original capacity. Fast and stable charging is supported even in low temperatures.

Advanced cameras powered by AI

The POCO F7 Ultra features a triple-camera system, combining a 50MP Light Fusion 800 main camera, a flagship-level floating telephoto lens, and a 32MP ultra-wide lens. This setup supports 8 focal lengths including 10cm macro shots, 2.5X optical zoom, and 5X in-sensor zoom. The system is supported by POCO AISP, the brandโ€™s first AI computational photography platform, delivering fast processing, 20X UltraZoom Beta, and rapid burst capture via UltraSnap.

The POCO F7 Pro also includes a 50MP main camera with the Light Fusion 800 sensor and an 8MP ultra-wide camera. It supports UltraSnap and dual focal length portrait shots through POCO AISP.

Both phones offer additional features like Dynamic Shots and other AI enhancements to add creative effects to photos and videos.

Enhanced display and durability

Both models come with ultra-slim bezels and bright displays offering 3,200 nits peak brightness and 1,800 nits HBM. To protect usersโ€™ eyes, the devices use Circular Polarisation Technology and support 3840Hz PWM dimming along with 16,000-level auto brightness. Certifications from TรœV Rheinland confirm they are low blue light, flicker-free, and circadian-friendly.

Touch responsiveness is improved even when using wet fingers or gloves. For the first time, POCO introduces an ultrasonic fingerprint sensor for faster and more secure unlocking.

Design-wise, the POCO F7 Series combines premium materials and durability. The back covers use a gloss-matte finish, while the POCO F7 Ultra includes quad-curved glass for better grip. A matte metal frame and aluminium camera deco ring complete the design. Both models have an IP68 rating for water and dust resistance. The F7 Ultra is protected by POCO Shield Glass, and the F7 Pro uses Corning Gorilla Glass 7i.

Connectivity, audio and availability

The Surge T1S signal chipset improves connectivity by up to 37% in mid-high frequencies, and enhances Wi-Fi and Bluetooth by up to 16%. For sound, Stereo Dual Speakers and AI Super Cinema offer immersive audio and video experiences.
