OPPO Singapore launches the #Find24HourMiracle photography contest, inviting participants to capture Singapore’s beauty with the new OPPO Find X8 Series.

OPPO Singapore is inviting photography enthusiasts to take part in its latest contest, the #Find24HourMiracle, which celebrates the beauty and vibrancy of Singapore through the lens of the newly launched OPPO Find X8 Series. Supported by the Singapore Board (STB), the competition offers a unique opportunity to capture the diverse experiences of the island nation from sunrise to midnight.

A journey through Singapore’s wonders

The #Find24HourMiracle photo contest is designed to showcase Singapore’s diverse landscapes and cultural experiences. Contestants will have the chance to share their “miracle stories” by photographing moments over a 24-hour period. From dawn to dusk, participants will curate a visual story that highlights the essence of life in Singapore, including the island’s iconic attractions, its bustling food scene, and hidden gems.

The contest aims to celebrate Singapore’s rich heritage and vibrant lifestyle, capturing the nation’s beauty in its many forms. Participants will take part in a two-week journey where they must curate photos that tell their own personal 24-hour miracle story. These photos should reflect the various aspects of Singaporean life, from the quiet beauty of early mornings to the lively late-night adventures that define the city.

Shortlisted contestants to receive OPPO Find X8 Pro

As part of the contest, 20 shortlisted participants will each receive an OPPO Find X8 Pro, the flagship smartphone set to launch on 21 November 2024. The Find X8 Pro is equipped with industry-leading photography features, including the Hasselblad Master Camera System, Dual Periscope Telephoto Cameras, and AI Telescope Zoom, allowing participants to capture extraordinary moments in high-quality detail, regardless of the lighting or time of day.

Participants are encouraged to explore iconic locations and capture moments that reflect the dynamism and charm of Singapore. They will be tasked with showcasing these “miracle moments” that define the country, through vibrant photographs that offer a personal take on why Singapore is a world-class destination.

A glimpse into the contest with renowned photographers

To inspire participants, OPPO has teamed up with local artist Romeo Tan, photographer Andy Yong, and documentary photographer Amrita Chandradas. These creatives have shared their own “miracle stories” using the OPPO Find X8 Pro to capture captivating images across different times of the day.

  • Amrita Chandradas’ “Harbor Miracle” (4 AM – 12 PM) captures the early morning tranquillity of Singapore’s harbours.
  • Andy Yong’s “Color Miracle” (12 PM – 7 PM) brings the midday and afternoon vibrancy of the city to life.
  • Romeo Tan’s “Cosmopolitan Miracle” (7 PM – 4 AM) showcases the dazzling lights and energy of Singapore’s nightlife.

These stunning works offer participants a look into how the OPPO Find X8 Pro’s camera capabilities can bring out the best in photography, no matter the time or setting.

Contest details and dates

Interested photographers can sign up for the contest by visiting OPPO’s social media pages, including Facebook and . Registration is open until 22 November 2024, and the shortlisted participants will be announced by 28 November. From there, the selected photographers will have until 13 December 2024 to complete their 24-hour photo journey.

Final winners will be announced in mid-December, with prizes and recognition awaiting those who capture the most inspiring images.
