OPPO partners with Mobile Legends: Bang Bang for a smooth gaming experience on the Reno13 series

OPPO partners with Mobile Legends: Bang Bang for the Reno13 Series, unveiling the MLBB x OPPO Smooth Legend Cup with prizes worth US$10,000+.

Global smartphone leader OPPO has announced its continued partnership with Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB), one of the world’s most popular mobile games. As the Official Game Partner, OPPO is set to elevate the gaming experience with the launch of the Reno13 Series.

This collaboration introduces the “MLBB x OPPO Smooth Legend Cup,” a regional tournament spanning six countries in Southeast Asia under the campaign theme “Smooth Legend.”

Gaming optimised for performance

OPPO has worked closely with MLBB to fine-tune the Reno13 Series for optimal gaming performance. This ensures the devices deliver exceptional responsiveness and stability, giving players a competitive edge. Whether you’re engaged in intense team battles or casual gameplay, the Reno13 Series maximises frame rate stability and reduces lag.

The Reno13 Pro 5G and Reno13 5G models feature the exclusive OPPO Adaptive Frame Booster, which raises the frame rate from 60 FPS to a stable 120 FPS. This enhancement not only ensures smoother visuals but also reduces power consumption by up to 18%, making it ideal for competitive gamers who demand seamless gameplay.

Lab tests conducted by OPPO revealed that the Reno13 Pro offers over eight hours of uninterrupted MLBB gameplay, outperforming the 6.5-hour benchmark of other flagship smartphones. These improvements highlight the combined efforts of OPPO and MLBB developers to redefine mobile gaming standards.

The Smooth Legend Cup kicks off

To celebrate the partnership, OPPO has unveiled the MLBB x OPPO Smooth Legend Cup, a tournament spanning the Philippines, Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, and Cambodia. Each country will host local competitions with exciting rewards.

In Singapore, the prize pool totals 100,000 in-game diamonds. The first-place winners will receive 50,000 diamonds, the second-place team will earn 30,000 diamonds, while the third and fourth-placed teams will each get 10,000 diamonds.

Country champions will also win an all-expenses-paid trip to Indonesia for the grand finale in late March. The overall champion team will secure a cash prize of US$10,000. Second place will take home US$5,000, while the third-place team will receive US$3,000. Teams finishing fourth to sixth will earn US$2,000 each.

How to register

The tournament is open for registration from 13 January to 3 February 2025. Participants must be Singaporean citizens aged 18 or older and not members of professional MLBB teams to qualify for the competition and cash prizes.

With this collaboration, OPPO aims to set new benchmarks for mobile gaming, blending cutting-edge technology with the thrill of competitive play.
