OPPO launches Watch X2 in Singapore with premium design and advanced health features

OPPO introduces the Watch X2 in Singapore with a premium design, advanced health features, and up to 16 days of battery life.

OPPO has announced the launch of its latest flagship wearable, the OPPO Watch X2, which will be available in Singapore from 28 March. Designed for users seeking both style and substance, the new smartwatch brings together a luxurious design, improved battery life, and a full suite of health and fitness features.

The OPPO Watch X2 aims to set new standards in the smartwatch category, with up to five days of battery life in Smart Mode and up to 16 days in Power Saver Mode. This extended performance is made possible by OPPO’s silicon-carbon battery technology, which increases capacity by more than 20% without making the device bulkier. A 10-minute charge using Watch VOOC Flash Charge can provide approximately 24 hours of use, according to the brand.

The device is powered by a dual-chip system, featuring Snapdragon W5 and BES2800BP MCU chips using advanced 6nm FinFET technology. This configuration allows seamless switching between Wear OS by Google and RTOS, offering faster performance, smoother multitasking, and better power efficiency. OPPO claims the latest MCU chip is 100% faster in CPU performance and 300% faster in NPU than its predecessor.

Elegant yet rugged design

The OPPO Watch X2 features a 1.5-inch OLED screen with LTPO technology that adjusts the refresh rate down to 1Hz to improve power efficiency by 30%. The display peaks at 2200 nits of brightness, making it easy to read even under strong sunlight. Its sapphire crystal glass adds resistance against scratches and smudges, while the polished stainless-steel body and premium titanium alloy bezel offer a luxurious but sturdy finish.

Certified with MIL-STD-810H standards, the Watch X2 is water-resistant up to 5ATM and IP68-rated, meaning it is suitable for a wide range of environments, from workouts to outdoor adventures. It comes in two colours: Lava Black with a sporty fluorine rubber band and Summit Blue paired with a leather strap for a more classic look.

Personal health tracking and stress support

Health and wellness are a strong focus for the Watch X2. One of its standout features is the 60-second Health Check-In, which provides instant readings of key wellness indicators like heart rate, blood oxygen level, and wrist temperature. Users can access, export, and share this data using the OHealth app on their smartphones.

The device also includes advanced sleep tracking that can detect potential signs of sleep apnea and irregular breathing patterns. It monitors heart rate variability (HRV) to help users understand and manage stress, offering data-backed suggestions to improve mental and physical wellbeing.

OPPO emphasises that all personal data is handled according to its privacy policy and that no data is collected without the user’s consent. The sleep monitoring features are meant for general health awareness and not as substitutes for medical diagnosis or treatment.

Fitness features and smart connectivity

Fitness enthusiasts will find the Watch X2 equipped with more than 100 workout modes, including specialised metrics for sports like tennis and badminton. Dual-frequency GPS (L1 and L5 bands) improves location accuracy, making the watch a strong companion for outdoor activities.

The smartwatch also enhances productivity by offering smart controls such as camera and video playback management for OPPO and OnePlus phones running the latest operating systems. With Wear OS 5 by Google, users can take calls, reply to messages, control music, navigate with Google Maps, and make contactless payments using Google Wallet. The device also supports Google Fast Pair and allows access to additional apps via Google Play.

Pricing and availability

The OPPO Watch X2 will be available at OPPO Concept Stores, the OPPO Official Online Store, and online platforms including Amazon, iShopChangi, KrisShop, Lazada, Shopee, TikTok, and Zalora from 28 March. It will be sold in Summit Blue for S$499 (usual price S$549) and Lava Black for S$449 (usual price S$499).

My OPPO members can claim a S$38 voucher through the My OPPO app, which is stackable with the launch promotion. This brings the price of the Summit Blue model down to S$461 and the Lava Black model to S$411. Customers who purchase selected Reno and Find series smartphones are eligible for an additional S$100 discount on the Watch X2, further reducing the prices to S$449 and S$399 respectively.
