OPPO launches ‘Road to Paris’ photo contest with stunning prizes

OPPO's 'Road to Paris' contest invites users to submit their best photos for a chance to win US$24,000 and showcase their work internationally.

OPPO has launched its “Road to Paris” campaign, inviting all smartphone enthusiasts to submit their best photographs captured on OPPO devices. Running from May to July, this contest offers participants the chance to showcase their photography skills across three monthly themes, with the grand finale offering a prize of up to US$24,000.

Capture the perfect shot

May’s theme, titled “WHAT A SHOT”, encourages participants to submit photos that capture dynamic moments, whether itโ€™s a thrilling strike at a football match, the perfect interplay of light and shadows, emotionally expressive faces, or any fleeting, beautiful moments. The submission window for this theme is open until May 31 at 23:59, Beijing time (UTC+8).

Prizes and rules to note

The top ten photographs selected in May will not only receive OPPO devices but will also advance to the final judging stage of the OPPO imagine IF Photography Awards 2024. The standout winner could scoop a grand prize of US$24,000 and a trip to the prestigious Paris Photo international exhibition. Contestants are reminded that their submissions must adhere to the theme and be captured using an OPPO or OnePlus smartphone, without heavy post-processing like Photoshop or Lightroom alterations. Moderate adjustments are permitted.

The competition also stresses ethical guidelines, stating that entries should avoid violence, explicit content, racial discrimination, or any content that might contravene societal norms and laws. OPPO will be the final arbiter of the contest, holding the right to determine the eligibility of the photographs submitted.

An immersive experience with OPPO at the UEFA Champions League

OPPO also celebrated its role as the Official Global Partner of the UEFA Champions League by announcing that its flagship device, the OPPO Find X7 Ultra, will be featured at this yearโ€™s final at Wembley Stadium. Official photographers will use this top-tier smartphone to capture key moments of the match, which will be shared globally.

Moreover, OPPO’s global brand ambassador, the renowned footballer Kakรก, will be participating in the “What A Shot” campaign, engaging fans and adding to the football fervour at the OPPO Hospitality Lounge in the Champions Village.
