Nintendo to debut its first pop-up store in Singapore this November

Nintendo is set to launch its first-ever pop-up store in Singapore, open from November 17, 2023, to January 1, 2024, offering exclusive merchandise and limited-time offers.

In a surprise twist, Nintendo is taking its first steps into the Southeast Asian market by launching a pop-up store in Singapore. Run by Avex , the store will be situated in Jewel at Changi Airport and will operate for a short window—from November 17, 2023, to January 1, 2024. The goal of the store is to offer local enthusiasts access to merchandise that was previously available only in Japan.

Nintendo is globally renowned for its legendary games and franchises. Yet, securing official merchandise has always been a bit of a challenge, particularly for fans in Southeast Asia. Before this, if you wanted to buy original Nintendo goods, your best bet would have been to hop on a plane to Japan and visit stores in Tokyo, Osaka, or Kyoto. This pop-up store aims to change that narrative by featuring a diverse product line inspired by Nintendo’s most popular franchises. These include Super Mario, Animal Crossing, The Legend of Zelda, Splatoon, and Pikmin.

Exclusive offers and memorabilia

In addition to the vast array of products, the store is going the extra mile to lure in shoppers. Customers who spend a minimum of S$80 in one transaction can get their hands on one of six uniquely designed postcards, available while supplies last. It might not seem like a big deal, but these limited-edition postcards could be the perfect keepsake from the Singapore pop-up store for die-hard fans.

For those who own a Nintendo Account, there’s an additional treat. You can check in at the store venue to receive special stickers celebrating the event. You’re eligible to check in once daily, and you’ll be gifted one of 18 random sticker designs.

If this has piqued your interest, you can find more information on the official Nintendo Singapore pop-up store website. Given the store’s limited run, the buzz and sense of exclusivity are already building up, making this a must-visit for all Nintendo enthusiasts.
