Mighty Jaxx introduces The BVB Collection: Bringing your favourite stars closer to you

[output_post_excerpt]

Lifestyle and collectibles designer brand Mighty Jaxx is pleased to launch its first sports collectibles series in collaboration with German Bundesliga club and global football giant Borussia Dortmund (‘BVB’).

“Football (and all of sports) today is entertainment and a lifestyle in itself and we believe that the line between sports and entertainment has truly converged.” said Jackson Aw, Founder and CEO of Mighty Jaxx. “Fans are no longer content to be just spectators, they crave immersive experiences, having fun and being social and we believe there exists a huge opportunity for us to bridge that gap with our tech-enabled premium sports collectibles.

Designed by YARMS as an 8” Premium Vinyl Art Collectible, the BVB 20/21 Collection kicks off with 3 of BVB’s brightest stars, namely 2020 Golden Boy Erling Haaland, club captain Marco Reus and electrifying young British talent Jadon Sancho in the iconic black and yellow BVB jersey.

Retailing at US$149, the BVB Collection will launch at 9pm SGT on 31 May 2021 via pre-order on Mighty AllStars, Mighty Jaxx’s new premium sports collectible brand which integrates extended digital experiences for collectors.

Additionally, to commemorate Erling Haaland’s coronation as the 2020 Golden Boy, Mighty Jaxx will concurrently launch a limited edition run of 500 pieces for the BVB 20/21: Erling Haaland (Golden Boy Edition), retailing only via Mighty AllStars at US$199.

All releases come with free shipping worldwide, with fulfilment expected in September 2021.

The first-of-its-kind partnership marks Mighty Jaxx’s foray into sports entertainment which saw Mighty Jaxx appointed as BVB’s official global licensing partner to produce and distribute exclusive tech-enabled collectibles based on BVB’s players to its 189 million fans worldwide as part of its commitment to develop new and creative ways for fan engagement.

With its collectibles designed to appeal to the new generations of ‘Tik-Tokers’, ‘Snapchatters’ and ‘Instagrammers’, fans no longer crave the traditional involvement or experience, such as watching games at the club’s stadium. Communities around the world instead desire interactive experience which enables them to create shareable moments and memories with their friends and BVB anticipates that these limited-edition tech-enabled collectibles will generate social buzz amongst the global fandom like never before.
