Linksys introduces Velop Pro 6E in Singapore with cutting-edge design

Linksys launches the Velop Pro 6E in Singapore, featuring a new droplet design and advanced WiFi 6E capabilities, available at promotional prices until 31 July.

Linksys, renowned for its home and small office connectivity solutions expertise, has just launched the Velop Pro 6E in Singapore. This latest offering marks the debut of the Designer Series, boasting a nature-inspired droplet design that melds aesthetic appeal with functionality. This new model aims to deliver an unparalleled WiFi 6E experience at an attractive price.

Advanced technology for seamless connectivity

The Velop Pro 6E is engineered using the Qualcomm Immersive Home 316 Platform. It features an additional 6GHz band that minimises interference and significantly boosts the speed of connections to various devices. The device’s superior range and coverage ensure that multiple devices can stream, download, and work more effectively with faster and broader connectivity.

Each node of this tri-band system includes a 1Gbps Ethernet LAN port, allowing for direct, wired connections to the network. The Linksys App facilitates a quick setup—often under 10 minutes—and allows for remote network management. This includes various features like guest access, parental controls, and more, enhancing both convenience and security.

Rhys Taylor, the Head of Sales for Linksys APAC, commented on the launch, stating, “Today a connected home with ubiquitous WiFi is the new normal, but people want the network devices to blend into their decor.” He highlighted that the Velop Pro 6E meets this demand with its stylish droplet design.

Michael Forbes, a principal engineer at Linksys, emphasised the ease of installation, noting that two-thirds have reduced the setup time. “With our Velop Pro 6E, we reduced the setup time by two thirds, so a complete system can be set up and operational in under 10 minutes.”

Additional features and availability

The Velop Pro 6E comes with several enhanced capabilities:

  • Quick and easy setup: The system’s three nodes can be configured in under 10 minutes.
  • Fortinet DNS Filtering: This feature, powered by Fortinet’s FortiGuard Labs, prevents access to malicious or inappropriate websites.
  • Innovative mesh capabilities: The Qualcomm platform integrates advanced WiFi 6E features with mesh capabilities for stable, fast coverage.
  • Eco-friendly packaging: The packaging is made from 65% recycled materials, supporting environmental sustainability.
  • Mesh technology: The system supports a self-optimising network that’s ideal for various uses, from gaming to large gatherings, without the need for subscriptions.

The Velop Pro 6E is available in different configurations for the Singapore market and can be purchased at Challenger Stores, Lazada, and Shopee. A special promotional offer is available until 31 July, with the one-pack (MX6201) priced at S$299 (originally S$359) and the two-pack (MX6202) at S$439 (originally S$659).
