LG unveils multifunctional 3-in-1 projector with lighting and speaker at CES 2025

LG unveils PF600U and CineBeam S projectors at CES 2025, combining premium visuals, immersive sound, and space-saving designs for modern homes.

LG Electronics has once again raised the bar for home entertainment with the launch of two innovative lifestyle projectors at CES 2025. These new models prioritise space efficiency, versatility, and premium quality, reflecting LG’s commitment to enhancing modern living spaces. The award-winning PF600U combines a projector, Bluetooth speaker, and LED mood lamp in one device, while the CineBeam S (PU615U) stands out as LG’s most compact Ultra Short Throw (UST) projector to date. Both models build on the success of the previous LG CineBeam Q, offering exceptional picture quality, advanced features, and user-friendly designs.

PF600U: A versatile 3-in-1 projector for every occasion

The PF600U, honoured with a CES Innovation Award, is designed to transform living spaces through its multifunctional capabilities. Acting as a projector, Bluetooth speaker, and LED mood lamp, it delivers a tailored experience for every setting, whether it’s a private cinema night, a relaxing visual display, or an ambient music session.

Inspired by the design of a floor lamp, the PF600U seamlessly blends into any room. It offers FHD (1,920 x 1,080) resolution, 300 ANSI lumens of brightness, and runs on LG webOS, providing access to popular platforms. Its stereo speakers, enhanced by passive radiators, deliver rich, immersive audio. Additionally, the built-in LED mood lamp offers nine colour options and five brightness levels, helping to set the perfect atmosphere.

The projector’s 110-degree tilting head and auto screen adjustment feature allow it to adapt to a variety of uses, from movie marathons to casual music sessions with friends. This adaptability ensures optimal screen positioning and ease of use across different scenarios.

CineBeam S: A compact 4K projector designed for modern homes

The CineBeam S is LG’s smallest 4K Ultra Short Throw (UST) projector, offering impressive picture quality in a sleek, portable design. Despite its compact size, it delivers stunning visuals with 4K UHD (3,840 x 2,160) resolution and 500 ANSI lumens of brightness. The projector also covers 154% of the DCI-P3 colour space, ensuring vibrant and lifelike colours.

One of the standout features of the CineBeam S is its ultra-short throw capability, which allows it to project screen sizes ranging from 40 to 100 inches with minimal wall clearance. This space-saving feature makes it an excellent addition to modern, minimalist interiors.

Its minimalistic metallic finish blends effortlessly into contemporary spaces, while the built-in stereo sound system with Dolby Atmos delivers an immersive audio experience. Powered by LG webOS, the projector supports seamless streaming from popular platforms. Additional features, including Auto Screen Adjustment, Wall Colour Adjustment, and Screen Scaling/Shifting, ensure easy setup and alignment, even in challenging spaces.

YS Lee, Vice President and Head of the IT Business Unit at LG Media Entertainment Solution Company, highlighted the significance of these new releases: “With the PF600U’s 3-in-1 versatility and the CineBeam S’s compact, ultra-short throw design, LG is setting a new standard for lifestyle projectors that cater to diverse spaces and user demands. LG is dedicated to delivering versatile projectors that adapt to different moods and lifestyles while seamlessly integrating into various environments, elevating the everyday experiences of modern users.”

LG’s latest projectors are designed to meet the needs of modern homes, offering entertainment, style, and convenience in one compact package. Both models are set to redefine how you experience movies, music, and mood lighting in your living space.
