LG launches free audio streaming service with user-friendly experience

LG launches LG Radio+, a free audio streaming service on LG smart TVs, offering podcasts and radio stations with seamless device integration.

LG Electronics has introduced LG Radio+, a free ad-supported audio streaming service now available on LG smart TVs running webOS 6.0 and above. This new platform allows you to enjoy a wide range of podcasts and radio programmes with ease. For added convenience, LG Radio+ integrates with the LG ThinQ app, enabling seamless control and access to your favourite audio content directly from your smartphone or tablet.

A partnership for quality content

To offer a diverse and high-quality audio experience, LG has partnered with global radio and audio provider Radioline. This collaboration gives you access to an extensive library of podcasts and live radio stations covering news, sports, music, and more.

In the US, listeners can tune in to popular stations and shows like NPR, CNN Radio, Fox Radio, and The Joe Rogan Experience. Meanwhile, users in Korea have access to a wide selection of beloved local stations and podcasts.

The LG Radio+ app can be easily downloaded from the Content Store or accessed through the voice search feature on the LG Magic Remote, making content discovery simple and efficient.

Easy navigation and personalised experience

LG Radio+ is designed with an intuitive user interface that makes exploring audio content easy. The On Air page displays popular live radio channels, while the Podcast page allows you to browse and stream your favourite shows. The Featured page showcases trending music and audio content in real-time, offering personalised recommendations and seasonal highlights.

With over 14,500 channels available in the US and more than 440 channels in Korea, you’ll have endless options to explore and enjoy.

Additionally, the LG ThinQ app enhances convenience by allowing you to stream LG Radio+ content directly through LG audio devices. This ensures you can continue listening without disruption, no matter where you are in the room.

Looking ahead, LG plans to introduce dedicated access via the My button on LG XBOOM speakers in 2025, further simplifying the listening experience.

Enhancing the audio experience across devices

LG remains committed to delivering an enriched user experience through innovative technology and seamless connectivity across its devices. With LG Radio+, the company offers not only a vast selection of audio content but also an easy-to-use interface that ensures you can navigate effortlessly and find your favourite content without hassle.

Whether you’re catching up on a podcast, tuning into live radio, or discovering new music, LG Radio+ provides an all-in-one platform for audio entertainment.
