iKare launches SPARK Plus with OMNIFIT for early mental health support in Singapore

iKare introduces SPARK Plus with OMNIFIT to support cognitive health in Singapore, using advanced technology for personalised, early intervention.

iKare, Singaporeโ€™s top provider of home care services, has unveiled SPARK Plus, an innovative wellness programme aimed at supporting mental and cognitive health in adults and seniors. This programme, a first in Singapore, brings personalised care to the forefront by incorporating OMNIFIT, an advanced brain health technology certified by the Korea Food and Drug Administration (KFDA). Designed to detect early signs of cognitive decline and support stress management, SPARK Plus reflects iKareโ€™s dedication to delivering more than conventional home care, in line with the companyโ€™s new brand identity.

Technology-led personalised wellness

SPARK Plus targets adults experiencing early signs of cognitive strain, such as forgetfulness, brain fog, or elevated stress levels. This proactive programme uses OMNIFIT technology as its core, combining OMNIFIT Mindcare Plus+ for brainwave monitoring with OMNIFIT BrainTraining to support cognitive wellness.

OMNIFIT BrainTraining provides customised exercises through artificial intelligence (AI) based on real-time brain activity (EEG) and heart rate (PPG) monitoring, ensuring each session is individually tailored. These exercises include cognitive tasks, music therapy, physical routines, and social activities, all aimed at strengthening resilience and enhancing overall quality of life.

Recent research indicates that nearly half of Singaporeans aged 18 to 64 delay cognitive screening, even when experiencing symptoms. The National Neuroscience Institute has reported an increase in early dementia cases, with some individuals diagnosed as young as 40, heightening the urgency for early intervention. Sangchul Lee, Chief Operating Officer of iKare, emphasised the importance of addressing cognitive decline proactively: “Timely intervention is key. SPARK Plus helps adults of any age stay sharp and feel their best to lead healthier, more fulfilled lives by targeting the root causes of cognitive decline at its onset.”

As part of its person-centred approach, SPARK Plus includes weekly Multi-Disciplinary Team Meetings, led by iKareโ€™s medical director, which gather insights from nurses, therapists, care coordinators, and operations staff. These sessions allow the team to review each clientโ€™s progress and adjust care plans, ensuring responsive, personalised support that evolves with each clientโ€™s needs.

Expanding holistic care with a refreshed mission

Alongside the launch of SPARK Plus, iKare is revealing an updated brand identity reflecting its mission to provide care that goes โ€œBeyond Home Care.โ€ The rebrand includes a fresh logo and visual identity, representing iKareโ€™s commitment to innovative, comprehensive care solutions. By expanding its services beyond traditional home caregiving, iKare aims to offer clients not only medical assistance but also mental and emotional support through a range of wellness programmes.

“Care is evolving, and so are we,” said Sangchul Lee. “Our rebranding represents our vision for the future of caregiving. We are committed to moving beyond the conventional definition of home care by embracing innovative, person-centred solutions that go beyond the basics to enrich the lives of our clients.”

Pioneering a new standard of care in Singapore

Founded in 2020, iKare has established itself as a reliable partner for individuals and families managing the complex demands of caregiving. Recognising the emotional, physical, and financial challenges faced by caregivers, iKareโ€™s services aim to offer complete support to both caregivers and care recipients. With the launch of SPARK Plus, iKare continues its mission to meet the evolving needs of Singaporeโ€™s ageing population and to provide relief for caregivers facing stress and burnout. SPARK Plus sets a new standard for tech-enhanced wellness programmes, helping clients achieve lasting mental and emotional wellbeing.
