Google is introducing a new version of Google Shopping. The version has already started rolling out, and some users have already started seeing it, and it should be fully available in the US by the end of this week.
This feature will enhance Google’s offering and appeal to both consumers and sellers. On Amazon, users who want to guarantee prominent visibility on product search results will need to continue paying for ads. For SEOs and e-commerce marketers, this move adds a new layer to organic search optimization efforts.
I don’t focus on the paid side as much, but it looks like the free shopping listings might have gone live. I see two sections, one for sponsored at the top and then the bottom listings which say Google isn’t compensated for clicks. @GinnyMarvin, do you know? pic.twitter.com/ZiWe9IEXOb
