Fatal Fury’s Terry Bogard joins the Street Fighter 6 roster

Terry Bogard from Fatal Fury joins Street Fighter 6 as a guest fighter this autumn, featuring in all major game modes across multiple platforms.

Capcom has unveiled an exciting new addition to the Street Fighter 6 roster. Following Evo 2024, they released a teaser trailer announcing that Terry Bogard, the iconic character from SNKโ€™s Fatal Fury series, will join as a guest fighter this autumn.

A legendary fighter returns

Terry Bogard, known for his signature red and white cap, has been beloved in the fighting game community for years. His inclusion in Street Fighter 6 is part of the Year 2 character announcement, which also features other notable fighters such as M. Bison, Mai Shiranui from Fatal Fury (arriving in early 2025), and Elena, the Capoeira master (set to join in spring 2025).

Although the teaser trailer did not reveal much about Terryโ€™s moveset, it showcased a thrilling scene where he takes down another Fatal Fury character, Lao, in the familiar setting of the Pao Pao Cafรฉ. Fans can expect to see Terry in action with his classic fighting style and possibly some new moves tailored for the Street Fighter universe.

Gameplay modes and availability

Terry Bogard will be available across all three major game modes in Street Fighter 6. Players can delve into Terryโ€™s story and background in World Tour mode. The Battle Hub will allow for competitive play against other fighters, and the Classic Fighting Ground experience will let fans enjoy traditional matchups featuring Terry.

This exciting new character will be accessible via Steam on multiple platforms, including PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC. Players who own the Year 2 Character Pass or the Year 2 Ultimate Pass will automatically unlock Terry, ensuring they can jump straight into the action without any additional purchases.
