Early deals slash prices on Apple Watch Series 10

Apple Watch Series 10 gets early discounts on Amazon, making it an ideal time to save on a range of models, from GPS-only to titanium cellular options.

Just a week after its launch, the newly launched Apple Watch Series 10 has already seen its prices slashed on Amazon. Specific configurations are now available with discounts of up to US$35; a US$30 cut is offered for aluminium GPS-only models. Additionally, a selection of titanium cellular versions has received price reductions for specific colours, allowing you to save on premium options.

Depending on your choice, some models come with smaller discounts of around US$11. Despite the variety in size and bands, all Apple Watch Series 10 models boast identical internal features. The standout upgrades include a clearer display and a host of advanced health and fitness tools, making it a comprehensive choice for those wanting to keep track of their well-being.

Health and fitness improvements

A key new feature in the Series 10 is the Vitals app, which monitors essential body metrics and can detect sleep apnea. The watch tracks your sleep patterns for over 30 days and alerts you if potential signs of sleep apnea are identified. Other essential features include ECG support and sleep monitoring, ensuring you remain informed about your health. The watch is also designed with enhanced durability and 50-metre water resistance, allowing it to withstand the demands of everyday wear.

In addition to its robust health-tracking abilities, the Series 10 has faster charging times, giving you more flexibility to use it throughout the day. A new built-in speaker lets you listen to music or podcasts directly from your watch, improving its functionality for on-the-go use.

The Series 10โ€™s upgrades, especially its enhanced health monitoring features, have been well received. Reviews praise it as a strong contender in the smartwatch market. Many consider it a worthwhile investment, particularly given the current price reductions.

Take advantage of early discounts

These early deals on the Apple Watch Series 10 present a great opportunity to buy at a reduced price, particularly since the model is still new. If you plan to get one, this is an excellent time to secure the latest Apple technology at a more affordable price.

When compared, the Apple Watch Series 10 and the Apple Watch Ultra 2 are both Appleโ€™s flagship smartwatches for 2024. Deciding between the two can be tricky, especially if you’re a first-time buyer or upgrading from an older model.

The Series 10 costs US$399 for the base model and US$499 for the cellular version. Meanwhile, the Apple Watch Ultra 2, released in September 2023, had an original price tag of US$799, but current discounts may lower it to US$699.

Which model should you choose?

The Series 10 introduces a slimmer design and comes in 46mm and 42mm sizes, offering a lightweight feel compared to the Ultra 2โ€™s single 49mm size. The Series 10 may be a better fit for those who prefer a sleeker look. On the other hand, the Ultra 2 is designed for outdoor enthusiasts, with rugged features and water resistance of up to 100 metres, making it the top choice for extreme activities.

The Series 10 suits those who enjoy a versatile, stylish design without sacrificing functionality. It offers more variety in finishes, including titanium in slate, gold, and natural, as well as cheaper aluminium options in Jet Black, Rose Gold, and Silver.

Both the Series 10 and Ultra 2 have powerful processorsโ€”the S10 in the Series 10 and the S9 in the Ultra 2. They also share similar health and fitness features, but the Ultra 2 has a Siren feature for emergencies, which the Series 10 lacks. The Ultra 2 is also better for diving, with a water-resistance rating of up to 100 metres. The Series 10 can handle submersion up to 6 metres, making it more suitable for swimming and snorkelling.

Ultimately, your decision should be based on what you need from your smartwatch. The Series 10 is perfect for a sleek, everyday smartwatch with various design options. However, if you need something more rugged and adventure-ready, the Ultra 2 will likely better meet your needs.
