DXC Technology helps Allianz PNB Life issue insurance policies in five minutes

DXC Technology partners with Allianz PNB Life, reducing product launch times by 30% and enabling policies to be issued in five minutes.

DXC Technology, a Fortune 500 global technology services provider, has partnered with Allianz PNB Life, one of the Philippines’ top life insurers, to enhance its digital capabilities. Through this collaboration, Allianz has reduced its product launch time by 30% and can now issue insurance policies in just five minutes, a significant improvement from the previous wait of several days.

Six-month transformation for faster service

Within just six months, DXC’s team of engineers and industry experts integrated 12 different systems at Allianz PNB Life. This integration modernised the insurer’s core operations, introducing a secure, cloud-based infrastructure that enabled quicker service delivery and improved efficiency.

“This six-month project set an internal record at Allianz PNB Life for a core system implementation that was both on time and on budget,” said Teh Kim Leng, Regional Chief Operating Officer, Allianz Asia Pacific. “We are already experiencing increased service levels, and customers are receiving policy contracts within minutes instead of days. While speed is important, we are also committed to ensuring our customers’ data is safe and secure, and DXC is our trusted partner in doing just that.”

Cloud-based solution driving digital efficiency

A key part of the transformation was the implementation of DXC’s Assure Integral, a comprehensive cloud-native policy management software. Integrated into Allianz’s digital infrastructure, the solution is built on DXC Assure Cloud, powered by Amazon Web Services (AWS). The technology helps Allianz launch new products more quickly, issue policies faster, and enhance the overall customer experience.

The insurance sector is data-intensive, relying on large volumes of information for risk assessment, premium calculations, and claims processing. DXC’s Assure platform addresses this need by providing advanced data management and security features that align with Allianz’s stringent standards.

“With over one billion policies on our platform, and 10% of the world’s premiums processed through our systems, DXC today serves 21 out of 25 of the world’s leading insurance companies,” said Ray August, managing director of Insurance Software & BPS at DXC Technology. “Our partnership with Allianz demonstrates how working alongside the right partner can produce meaningful results.”

Regional outlook and future potential

In Asia Pacific, insurers are prioritising IT investments to stay competitive and enhance security. “About a quarter of DXC’s IT budgets in Asia Pacific are dedicated to new system implementations, and APAC insurers cite IT cost reduction, competitive advantage, cybersecurity, and data protection as key to their growth in 2025,” said Max Ang of Celent, a leading research firm focused on technology for financial institutions.

DXC’s Assure Integral is highlighted as a key cloud-native solution for insurers in the region. Its successful deployment at Allianz PNB Life serves as a model for other insurance companies aiming to speed up digital transformation and improve customer service.
