The Cyber Security Agency of Singapore (CSA) has entered into a Memoranda of Understanding (MoU) with tech giants Microsoft and Google. This agreement aims to bolster Singapore’s national cybersecurity measures.
Collaborative efforts on multiple fronts
Under the MoU, the three organisations will be collaborating on a range of activities. These include sharing cyber threat intelligence, conducting joint operations against cybercrime, discussing emerging technologies such as Artificial Intelligence (AI), and building capabilities in the cybersecurity space.
More partnerships are on the horizon
The CSA is open to further partnerships and encourages collaboration with other significant industry players. David Koh, Chief Executive of the CSA, stated, “Cyber defence is a team effort. Big Tech plays a key role in shaping our digital terrain and is therefore an important partner in cyber defence and cybersecurity. We look forward to working closely with Microsoft and Google to advance our shared mission of building a safer cyberspace for all users.”
By teaming up with Microsoft and Google, CSA aims to enhance the nation’s commitment to a secure digital landscape. This partnership also paves the way for Singapore to remain ahead of the curve in cybersecurity, setting an example for other nations to follow.
