Crunchyroll brings immersive Solo Leveling and One Piece experiences, exclusive merchandise, and live performances to AFA Singapore 2024.

Crunchyroll, the global anime platform, is set to impress at Anime Festival Asia (AFA) Singapore 2024, taking place from 29 November to 1 December at the Suntec Singapore Convention & Exhibition Centre. Following its successful debut at AFA 2023, Crunchyroll returns with a collection of immersive experiences, allowing fans to step into the worlds of their favourite anime series and interact with the voices behind iconic characters.

Enter the Solo Leveling dungeon

A key feature of this yearโ€™s Crunchyroll experience is the Solo Leveling Experience Dome. Fans of Solo Leveling, one of this yearโ€™s biggest anime hits, can look forward to entering the dark and suspenseful world of Sung Jinwoo, the showโ€™s hunter protagonist. Inside the dome, visitors will explore the Solo Leveling Corridor, a chilling re-creation of the animeโ€™s intense environment, complete with immersive audiovisual effects that capture the thrill of Sung Jinwooโ€™s life-or-death battles. As a souvenir, each participant will receive a Solo Leveling acrylic keychain, making it a unique keepsake for Southeast Asian fans.

One Piece “Wanted!” photo op: Join the Straw Hat Pirates

One Piece fans will enjoy the One Piece Wanted! Photo Op, an interactive setup that invites fans to step into the world of the Straw Hat Pirates. Using “Wanted” posters and props, visitors can capture memorable moments and pose as their favourite crew members. By sharing these photos on social media and tagging Crunchyroll, participants will receive a special One Piece sticker sheet and a collector card, adding a touch of pirate adventure to their AFA experience.

Exclusive Tower of God voice actor panel

Crunchyrollโ€™s AFA 2024 offerings also include an exclusive panel featuring Taichi Ichikawa and Saori Hayami, the Japanese voice actors for Tower of God characters Jyu Viole Grace (also known as Twenty-Fifth Bam) and Rachel. Scheduled for Saturday, 30 November at 1:15 PM on the AFA Day Stage, the session will provide behind-the-scenes insights, personal stories, and a closer look into the actorsโ€™ voice-acting process. Later that day at 3:00 PM, fans will also have the chance to meet Taichi Ichikawa in a special meet-and-greet session, offering a rare opportunity to connect directly with one of animeโ€™s celebrated voice talents.

On Friday, 29 November, the AFA x Japan Music Festival will feature Aqua Timez, Shiyui, Takanori Nishikawa, and TeddyLoid. On Sunday, 1 December, fans can enjoy the AFA x I LOVE ANISONG concert with performances by KAF, KANA-BOON, ReoNa, Mayโ€™n, and Sally Amaki (22/7). These concerts promise to deliver a lively musical experience, bringing an added layer of celebration to this yearโ€™s anime festival.
