Canon partners with Antelope Global to distribute AI-powered Antelope Genie in Singapore

Canon partners with Antelope Global to launch AI-powered Antelope Genie in Singapore, streamlining document management and boosting workplace automation.

Canon has partnered with Antelope Global Pte. Ltd. to distribute its AI-powered document management system, Antelope Genie, in Singapore. This advanced platform integrates artificial intelligence to enhance workplace automation and office administration, making business operations more efficient across industries.

Antelope Genie is designed to streamline processes, reduce manual workloads, and lower operational costs. By incorporating generative AI, the platform simplifies tasks such as document management, data extraction, and content analysis. This collaboration between Canon and Antelope Global aims to help businesses stay competitive by optimising workflows and improving productivity.

Enhancing efficiency with AI automation

Antelope Genie is equipped with AI-powered tools to automate tedious office processes. In accounts payable, for example, the platform automates invoice processing by extracting relevant data and consolidating it into dashboards for better financial oversight. Businesses in document-heavy sectors, such as manufacturing, can use Antelope Genie to analyse and summarise content, compare documents, and generate reports.

The platform also includes a built-in chatbot capable of providing insights and recommendations. Users can select specific documents, compare batch records, and generate automated analysis reports, making data management more efficient and reliable.

“In this evolving landscape, it is essential for businesses to remain relevant by enhancing their services. To do so, businesses can use generative AI as its impact on industries everywhere is undeniable as seen from the positive improvements that has taken place. Antelope Genie empowers organisations to tap into the potential of AI by creating smarter and efficient workflows, giving them a competitive edge,” said Andrew Koh, Senior Vice President and Head of Singapore Operations Group, Canon Singapore.

He added, “Canon is committed to helping businesses in their digital transformation by offering an AI-driven solution that delivers greater ROI while ensuring a seamless and user-friendly experience that makes adoption easy.”

Key AI-driven features of Antelope Genie

The platform includes several AI-powered tools to improve productivity:

  • AI Capture: Available on web and mobile, this feature recognises both printed and handwritten text in multiple languages. It extracts data without requiring pre-set layouts, handles line items and amendments, and performs simple calculations. AI Capture also allows users to upload files or take photos of physical documents for instant text recognition and data extraction.
  • Genie Chatbot: This multilingual AI assistant processes multiple documents simultaneously, providing insights, drafting emails, comparing content, and updating contract terms.
  • Document summarisation and comparison: The system generates role-specific summaries of lengthy documents, helping users save time when reviewing contracts or reports.
  • Automated date tracking: Antelope Genie identifies and highlights key dates in documents, offering options to set up email remindersโ€”an essential tool for managing contracts and invoices.

Canon has a long-standing partnership with Antelope International Ltd. in Hong Kong, where the platform has been successfully implemented across various industries. Now, Canon is expanding its reach, introducing Antelope Genie to businesses in Singapore before rolling it out to other markets in the future.

As part of its commitment to digital transformation, Canon will continue to introduce more AI-driven solutions to help businesses enhance efficiency and improve operational workflows.
