Global telecommunications company BT has been recognised as a leader in the “Completeness of Vision” category in the 2024 Gartner Magic Quadrant for Global WAN Services. This marks a significant milestone for BT by Gartner, a renowned industry analyst firm. The report highlights the effectiveness of network services in meeting the needs of global enterprises.

Leader in vision and execution

For the 20th consecutive year, BT has retained its position as a leader in the Gartner Magic Quadrant for Global WAN Services. The assessment criteria, “Ability to Execute and Completeness of Vision,” set the benchmark for ranking the top service providers in this category. According to Gartner, leaders in this quadrant excel in performance, maintain stable organisational structures, and have a clear understanding of market trends. They are recognised for offering comprehensive service portfolios and addressing the diverse needs of enterprises varying in size, geographic spread, and industry sectors.

Leaders in the Global WAN Services space are distinguished by their ability to shape market trends through expansive coverage, innovative capabilities, and scalable commercial models. BT’s sustained leadership highlights its commitment to innovation and its responsiveness to the evolving demands of network services. The company’s new initiative, Global Fabric—a visionary network-as-a-service platform—reflects its strategic response to customer needs concerning application performance, AI, IoT, data sovereignty, and sustainability.
