BenQ, the award-winning No. 1 DLP projector brand, today launched the compact Smart Portable LED Mini projector, GV11, the latest addition to their full suite of products tailored to different user types.

Designed to allow anyone to bring that comfy corner theatre experience anywhere, the new GV11 comes jam-packed with powerful technology to suit the modern digital nomad lifestyle that expects untethered convenience without compromising on quality.

โ€œConsumer entertainment habits have very quickly evolved during the course of the pandemic, and the rising demand for lifestyle technology, thanks to 24/7 digital lifestyles, are here to stay. Due to safe-distancing measures and restrictions on group sizes, small and cosy gatherings indoors are now commonplace โ€“ with deeper connections and bonds formed over dinner and a movie. The compact BenQ GV11 Portable LED Mini Projector brings laid-back streaming enjoyment to life in the comfort of your home and provides a rich variety of options in BenQโ€™s portable series, which fits your lifestyle and allows you to enjoy a cinematic experience anytime, everywhere with your loved onesโ€, said Jeffrey Liang, President, BenQ, Asia Pacific.

Drawing from the proven GV30, the GV11 brings award-winning visual features from its predecessor in a compact, portable form factor. Building upon tried and tested features such as the rotating lens, 135-degree projection angle, and with automatic vertical keystone correction, the GV11 has the flexibility and power to create immersive cinematic 80โ€ experiences in just 2.3m of space, whether on a ceiling, wall or screen. BenQโ€™s Cinematic Color technology, combined with six pre-tuned picture and four sound modes means setting up the perfect show is a breeze.

While the GV30 featured 2.1-channel Bluetooth speakers, BenQโ€™s treVolo-tuned audio modes and bass-extending sealed enclosure design are new to the GV11 and designed with the digital nomad in mind. It produces room-filling sound, thanks to its acoustic waveguide design, bringing the sound of home theatre out on the open road. Its 5W, 270-degree sound system are built-in to the compact, battery powered form factor of the GV11, not only enhancing the audio enjoyment behind the GV11, with less clutter and one less device to worry about.

The convenience of Google-certified Android TV 10 powering the GV30 makes a return on the GV11 and takes convenience and portability to the next level. Access to the Google Play Store provides content from over 5,000 streaming apps including Prime Video, YouTube, and more. In addition, with full-flexibility in mind, the GV11 also provides additional connectivity in the form of built-in Bluetooth, and HDMI 1.4b, and USB-A inputs.

Casting to the GV11 is also possible through Google Chromecast and Apple AirPlay technologies built-in for wireless projection, and BenQโ€™s Smart Control App for iOS and Android means never being far from a remote control.

With enough battery power to enjoy up to two-hours of a non-stop movie, or four hours of music, pausing a TV series binge session to find a power socket is an inconvenience of the past. But when itโ€™s time to move on, the GV11 features a convenient carry strap and bag for protection. At just under 1kg in weight, the GV11 is easy to stash away.

The GV11 retails at S$599 and will exclusively launched on Shopee from 22 October to 6 November 2022 at an early bird price of S$529, including free shipping. The GV11 will be available on BenQ Amazon and Lazada brand shops from 7 November 2022. Find out more about the BenQ GV11 Smart Portable LED Mini Projector here.
