Modern desktop management is all about keeping your space clean and running at optimal efficiency, and we’re not talking about PCs or OSes. Instead, we’re talking about your actual physical workspace.

When you need to maintain your productivity and have versatility in using your devices, consumers often turn to docks to help them bring together all of these disparate parts of modern productivity into one coherent, organized whole.

In this segment, the Belkin Thunderbolt 3 Dock Pro is perhaps one of the single most adaptable and reliable devices with compatibility with almost all major platforms and support for 8K resolution at 30Hz on a single screen and 4K at 60Hz on dual monitors.

Equipped with no less than eight ports, this truly “all-in-one” beast also gives you a fast data transfer speed of 40Gbps, and it all comes in an inconspicuous, sturdily constructed product format. It is not only a superior consumer option, but it is also the best choice on the market right now for a desktop dock.

Optimized for the modern workspace

Regarded as the best-in-class by multiple tech reviewers and even consumers, the Thunderbolt 3 Dock Pro is one of the most compelling options in Singapore for people who need powerful, versatile performance.

The dock offers compatibility with both Microsoft Windows as well as Apple’s Macintosh desktop and laptop PCs. Using plug-and-play access, users simply connect and disconnect Thunderbolt 3 or USB-C cords to the dock as needed. This enables Ultra High Definition output at 40 Gbps transfer rates. The Thunderbolt 3 Dock Pro provides more than enough power to multiple peripherals via Ethernet or Thunderbolt, USB-A, USB-C, SD, and Audio ports, all using one single cable.

Everything you could ever want to connect

When it comes to docks, it often seems like some makers do not go far enough in offering consumers options to connect multiple devices. This complaint can’t be lodged against the Belkin Thunderbolt 3 Dock Pro. With more ports than you likely have devices, this product is not only comprehensive in terms of compatibility, but it also offers more than enough functionality to grow with a user’s needs over time.

On the front of the dock, we have a USB-A 3.1 port for USB-A devices, USB-C 3.1 port for USB-C, an SD card reader, and Audio in/out for microphone and speaker support. On the back, we get a bevy of other connection options. These include access to a 170W power supply unit that powers the entire dock and allows you to charge a connected laptop up to 85W. That means that you can keep your battery-powered as you work and, should you need to detach and move your workspace elsewhere, your laptop’s battery will still be at optimal levels.

The dock also has Thunderbolt 3 connections for laptops, monitors, and accessories. As is standard in this segment, you also get a Gb Ethernet port for a more stable connection if you need it. The dock has four USB-A 3.0 ports for devices like the mouse and printer to cap all of this off.

Perfect for the office or home

Sporting a sleek, modern design, the Thunderbolt 3 Dock Pro is perfect for the home or office environment. Constructed from aluminum, the dock is both durable and sturdy, able to withstand some punishment and definitely strong enough to undergo daily office wear and tear rigors. For designers and engineers, the dock’s dual HD monitor support is both a necessity and class-leading.

Thunderbolt 3 connected laptops obtain the following performance for single monitor support:

  • 8K (7680 x 4320) @ 30Hz
  • 4K (3840 x 2160) @ 60Hz

When it comes to dual-monitor support via a Thunderbolt 3 connection, the following is possible:

  • 4K (3840 x 2160) @ 60Hz
  • 4K (3840 x 2160) @ 30Hz

USB C single monitor support numbers are:

  • 5K (5120 x 3200) @ 30Hz
  • 4K (3840 x 2160) @ 30Hz

Dual-monitor support at:

  • 4K (3840 x 2160) @ 30Hz
  • 1080P @ 60Hz and 1080P @ 60Hz.

Secure digital card slots on the dock support Ultra-High-Speed II (UHS-II) for 312 MB/s transfer speeds. Offering support for SD cards, SDHC (High-Capacity) cards, and SDXC (Extended-Capacity) cards, UHS-II boasts of being at least three times faster than UHS-I when it comes to transferring digital media.
