ATxEnterprise concludes its fourth edition, marking another milestone in regional tech innovation

ATxEnterprise 2024 concludes with groundbreaking discussions on AI, cybersecurity, and digital transformation in the APAC region.

The fourth edition of ATxEnterprise, a cornerstone of Asia Tech Singapore (ATxSG) 2024, wrapped up on May 31. This year’s event attracted over 22,000 participants from 110 countries, underscoring its status as the region’s premier technology gathering.

A broadened agenda and networking highlights

ATxEnterprise expanded its programme this year to mirror the significant trends shaping the tech industry, bringing together global leaders, innovators, and policymakers. They discussed key developments in areas like AI, data management, cybersecurity, and blockchain. A highlight of this year’s event was the inaugural ATX Party held on Sentosa Beach at Tipsy Unicorn, offering attendees a unique networking experience in a picturesque setting.

Singapore’s Senior Minister of State for the Ministry of Communications and Information (MCI) and Ministry of National Development, Mr. Tan Kiat How, launched the event by introducing the Digital Enterprise Blueprint (DEB). This initiative outlines the next steps in digitalisation for enterprises within Singapore’s dynamic digital economy.

Advances in technology and security

The event featured several key areas of technological advancement. At the BroadcastAsia stage, discussions centred on broadcasting technologies with AI applications like content-adaptive encoding, visual enhancements for low-quality feeds, and innovations in immersive and 5D experiences. CommunicAsia focused on AI and automation’s role in transforming network operations, enhancing customer experiences, and improving operational efficiency.

Cybersecurity was a major theme, with sessions addressing the immediate impact of AI on cyber threats, including social engineering. These discussions provided attendees with practical insights on risk mitigation and the establishment of robust cybersecurity frameworks.

The inaugural AI Summit Singapore, which attracted 500 attendees, also took place at the event. It focused on scaling AI solutions, the transformative impact of AI across industries, ethical AI practices, and emerging AI technologies.

Rory Crone, Marketing Director of The AI Summit Series, expressed enthusiasm about the summit’s success, stating, “We are delighted with the turnout and reaction to the inaugural The AI Summit Singapore. Seeing so many audience members gathering to listen to our line-up of fantastic speakers, and eager to learn about the latest AI innovations, is proof that Singapore is quickly becoming the AI hub of Asia.”

Patricia Cheong, ATxSG Event Director, reflected on the event’s success, stating, “This year’s event has successfully brought together leaders and changemakers across various verticals, highlighting the immense value of collaboration. The innovations and discussions that took place here will undoubtedly shape the future of technology and industry in Singapore and beyond.”

The ATxEnterprise team thanked all sponsors, speakers, partners, and attendees for their contributions. They anticipate an even more impactful event next year. The next ATxEnterprise is scheduled for May 27-29, 2025, at the Singapore EXPO.
