ASUS Zenbook A14 launches in Singapore: A lightweight powerhouse

ASUS launches the ultra-light Zenbook A14 in Singapore. It features Snapdragon X processors, 32-hour battery life, and a sleek, durable design.

ASUS has officially launched the Zenbook A14 in Singapore, bringing the ultra-lightweight Copilot+ PC to local consumers. First unveiled at CES, this notebook stood out for its sleek design and impressive portability. At just 0.98kg, ASUS claimed it was the lightest Copilot+ PC available at its announcement.

The Zenbook A14 features a cutting-edge design using ASUS’s proprietary ‘Ceraluminum’ material, which keeps the laptop both lightweight and durable. According to ASUS, the material has undergone rigorous scratch and resistance tests, ensuring long-term durability without compromising weight.

High-performance Snapdragon X processors

Instead of traditional Intel or AMD chips, the Zenbook A14 runs on Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon X series processors. The base model is powered by an 8-core Snapdragon X (X1-26-100), while the higher-end variant comes equipped with a 12-core Snapdragon X Elite (X1E 78 100). Both models offer 45 TOPS of AI performance, reinforcing their capabilities as Copilot+ PCs designed for AI-driven tasks.

Battery life is another highlight, with ASUS promising up to 32 hours of video playback thanks to a 70Wh battery. The 14-inch display features a 16:10 aspect ratio, FHD OLED technology, and an impressive 600 nits of brightness. Storage and memory configurations vary, with the Snapdragon X model featuring 16GB of LPDDR5x RAM, while the Snapdragon X Elite variant comes with 32GB. Both versions include a 1TB NVMe SSD for ample storage space.

Pricing and availability

The Zenbook A14 is now available in Singapore. The base model with the Snapdragon X processor costs S$1,699. Customers can choose between Iceland Gray and Zabriskie Beige colour options. The premium Snapdragon X Elite version, priced at S$2,199, is available exclusively in Iceland Gray.

Consumers can purchase the Zenbook A14 from Lazada, Shopee, ASUS’s Online Store, and the ASUS Exclusive Store. ASUS has also confirmed availability through authorised retailers, meaning the laptop will soon be stocked in local electronics stores.
