ASUS unveils ROG Rapture GT-BE19000, a groundbreaking gaming router at Computex 2024

ASUS introduces the ROG Rapture GT-BE19000 at Computex 2024, featuring tri-band WiFi 7, advanced gaming network settings, and up to 31 Gbps wired speeds.

ASUS Republic of Gamers has launched the ROG Rapture GT-BE19000, a tri-band WiFi 7 gaming router, at this year’s Computex. Designed to provide unmatched gaming and computing performance, this router features top-tier speeds and innovative network management tools, setting a new standard in high-performance gaming networks.

Unrivalled wireless and wired speeds

The ROG Rapture GT-BE19000 router offers staggering wireless speeds of up to 19 Gbps, enabled by state-of-the-art WiFi 7 technology, which incorporates 320 MHz channels, 4096-QAM, and Multi-Link Operation. It is the world’s first gaming router to incorporate Automatic Frequency Coordination. This feature scans the WiFi environment and selects the least congested channel in the 6 GHz band, significantly boosting the router’s transmit power.

For wired connections, the router boasts up to 31 Gbps of capacity. This includes two 10 Gb Ethernet ports and four 2.5 Gb Ethernet ports, providing a robust foundation for a solid local network in the burgeoning era of AI and connected devices.

Seamless gaming experience with Gaming Network

The GT-BE19000 is equipped with the ASUS-exclusive Guest Network Pro technology, which now includes a Gaming Network setting specifically tailored for gaming. This setting consolidates all gaming-related features into a single SSID, enabling gamers to connect and enjoy optimal performance without the need for individual device configurations.

Additionally, the router supports Triple-Level Game Acceleration, an innovative feature from ROG that prioritises gaming data packets from the device to the game server, ensuring an enhanced gaming experience.

Advanced AiMesh and comprehensive feature updates

The ASUS announcement also includes updates for its entire range of WiFi 7 routers, featuring Smart AiMesh technology enhanced with AI. The new Smart AiMesh supports Multi-Link Operation, intelligently managing traffic by prioritising high-demand data packets to the faster band, thus ensuring smooth gaming and streaming.

The ROG GT-BE19000 itself offers a 10 Gb Ethernet LAN port for a robust wired backhaul, ensuring an always-on, extended mesh network. This feature, combined with the advanced capabilities of the entire ASUS and ROG WiFi 7 router lineup, including the ROG Rapture GT-BE98 and ASUS ZenWiFi series, promises users an exceptional and future-proof networking experience.

This comprehensive suite of features across ASUS’s WiFi 7 routers, including enhanced security settings and guest network management, positions the brand as a leader in the next generation of home and gaming networking solutions.
