ASUS has introduced the Zenbook S 16 (UM5606), a pioneering ultrathin 16-inch laptop that melds sophisticated technology with state-of-the-art design, marking a new era for AI-driven personal computing.

The laptop's chassis features Ceraluminum, a first-of-its-kind ceramic hybrid material, available in various nature-inspired hues. This innovation is not only scratch-resistant but also enhances the device's durability. With an AMD Ryzen AI 9 365 processor and Radeon 880M graphics at its core, the Zenbook S 16 promises up to 50 dedicated NPU TOPS, ensuring peak performance with minimal noise, thanks to an advanced cooling system.

A seamless blend of design and technology

The Zenbook S 16 stands out with its ultrathin 1.1 cm profile, achieved through high-precision CNC milling that contributes to both its aesthetic and functional design. This process not only helps in achieving the slim design but also allows for the creation of a unique geometric grille above the keyboard and a large 16:10 aspect ratio touchpad, enhancing user interaction.

ASUS has spent four years perfecting the texture, colour, and durability of Ceraluminum, culminating in a device that combines robustness with a sleek, modern look. It is the thinnest and most compact 16-inch laptop available, emphasising ASUS's commitment to blending high performance with portability.

Advanced features for power and ease of use

The Zenbook S 16 has the latest innovations to efficiently support modern AI applications. It features 24 GB of RAM, a 1TB PCIe 4.0 SSD, and a high-capacity 78 Wh battery that can deliver up to 20 hours of use. The dedicated Windows Copilot key on the ASUS ErgoSense keyboard enhances productivity by providing instant access to Windows AI assistance.

Cinematic audiovisual experience

The Zenbook S 16 features a 3K 120 Hz ASUS Lumina OLED display, providing vivid, lifelike visuals that are Pantone Validated and DisplayHDR True Black 500 certified. The laptop's sound system, certified by Harman Kardon, includes two tweeters and four woofers, delivering a rich Atmos sound for an immersive audiovisual experience.

Enhanced security and user-friendly features

The laptop incorporates the Pluton security processor and supports the new Windows passkeys feature, which stores authentication data securely, enhancing user privacy. The ASUS AiSense IR camera system includes features like facial recognition for automatic login and logout, Adaptive Lock, and Adaptive Dimming, which locks the laptop when the user is away and dims the display when the user looks away, ensuring privacy and security.

The ASUS Zenbook S 16 OLED (UM5606WA-RK133W) is now available for S$2,549 at the ASUS Exclusive Store, ASUS Online Store, and all authorised retailers.
