ASUS introduces ZenWiFi BQ16 Pro and ZenWiFi BT10 for high-speed, smart home WiFi 7 connectivity

ASUS unveils ZenWiFi BQ16 Pro and BT10, WiFi 7 routers with AI-enhanced features for high-speed, secure, and smart home connectivity across Singapore.

ASUS has launched two advanced WiFi 7 mesh routers, the ZenWiFi BQ16 Pro and ZenWiFi BT10. These routers deliver powerful 6 GHz WiFi and impressive speeds of up to 30 Gbps, providing seamless coverage and stable connectivity across large homes. Designed for next-generation smart homes, the ZenWiFi BQ16 Pro and BT10 support expansive coverage and AI-driven connectivity solutions.

AI-boosted Smart AiMesh technology

The ZenWiFi BQ16 Pro and ZenWiFi BT10 feature ASUSโ€™s exclusive Smart AiMesh technology, which utilises WiFi 7’s Multi-Link Operation (MLO) combined with AI enhancements to optimise connectivity. MLO automatically selects the best available frequency band, reducing latency and ensuring efficient data transmission across the network. This AI-driven system intelligently prioritises high-demand applications, enabling consistent connectivity for households with multiple devices.

The ZenWiFi BQ16 Pro offers coverage of up to 8,000 square feet with a 2-pack setup, while the BT10 provides up to 6,000 square feet in a 2-pack option. For users who prefer a standalone router, each model offers coverage for up to 4,000 square feet (BQ16 Pro) and 3,000 square feet (BT10). Featuring dual 6 GHz bands, the ZenWiFi BQ16 Pro maximises WiFi 7 potential with dedicated 6 GHz wireless backhaul, while the BT10 offers an ideal solution for homes equipped with Ethernet, using wired backhaul for optimal performance.

Robust hardware for seamless connectivity

Both ZenWiFi models include dual 10 Gbps Ethernet ports, supporting future-ready networks with 10 Gbps wired backhaul. Designed for demanding internet requirements, these ports enable users to create a robust, scalable mesh network. Additional connectivity options, such as USB 3.0 WAN and mobile tethering for 4G LTE and 5G, ensure uninterrupted network availability even in case of outages.

Each model is powered by a quad-core processor (2.6 GHz for the BQ16 Pro and 2.0 GHz for the BT10), allowing for high-speed performance under heavy usage. With high-powered internal antennas and front-end modules, both models deliver consistent, full-range coverage without dead zones. ASUS has also designed these routers with efficient heat dissipation, maintaining reliable, quiet operation to meet the demands of modern households.

Comprehensive security and family-friendly features

ASUS has incorporated advanced security features into the ZenWiFi BQ16 Pro and BT10, including commercial-grade AiProtection Pro and an AI-powered cloud database from Trend Micro, as well as ASUS-exclusive technologies. This suite protects smart homes across all connected devices, with automatic updates and instant notifications to maintain network safety.

For families, ASUS introduces the Smart Home Master, a practical tool for setting up dedicated SSIDs for IoT devices, children, and VPN networks. The IoT Network groups smart devices under a single, secure SSID, while the Kidโ€™s Network offers a dedicated SSID for children, making it easy for parents to manage screen time and monitor online activities. Built-in parental controls allow families to create age-appropriate filters and set internet schedules, empowering parents to encourage balanced digital habits without subscription fees. The VPN Network supports various VPN protocols, including the latest WireGuard technology, ensuring private and secure access.

Availability and pricing

The ASUS ZenWiFi BQ16 Pro and BT10 are now available in Singapore, with the BT10 currently available in stores. The 2-pack BT10 set is priced at S$1,299, and the single-pack BT10 is available for S$699. Pricing details for the ZenWiFi BQ16 Pro will be announced soon.
