ASUS introduces the Vivobook S 15, an AI-enhanced laptop with Snapdragon X Elite, advanced security features, and exceptional design for enhanced personal computing.

ASUS has unveiled the Vivobook S 15, a pioneering Copilot+ PC, during its exclusive online event, Next Level. AI Incredible. This groundbreaking device, developed in collaboration with Microsoft and Qualcomm, signifies a leap forward in AI-powered personal computing. ASUS Co-CEO S.Y. Hsu, speaking at the launch, described the release as the dawn of a new era. “As ASUS embarks on this journey, marked by the launch of our first AI PC, we stand at the beginning of a new era of personal computing,” he said. “The launch of our first Copilot+ PC powered by Snapdragon Elite is an important milestone for us, and we believe that these devices are the future of consumer PCs and will drastically change the way we will work, study, create, and play.”

The event also featured speakers from Microsoft and Qualcomm, highlighting their collaborations. “It’s an exciting time to be in devices, and collaborating with partners like ASUS allows us to bring innovative hardware that unlocks AI software to life for our customers,” stated Mark Linton, VP Device Partner Sales at Microsoft. Qualcomm’s president and CEO, Cristiano Amon, expressed excitement about the : “I am thrilled that Qualcomm and ASUS are working together to bring industry-leading innovation to consumers and enterprises, and our latest collaboration is the best yet,” said Amon. “Performance is reborn with Snapdragon X Elite, and we look forward to collaborating with ASUS to put incredible innovation like the ASUS Vivobook S 15 in the hands of users.”

Advanced AI functionality for optimal performance

The ASUS Vivobook S 15 is equipped with the Snapdragon X Elite processor and a built-in Qualcomm Hexagon NPU. It boasts a powerful 45 TOPS Neural engine for enhanced on-device AI processing. This setup allows for sophisticated AI capabilities directly on the laptop, enhancing everything from multimedia creation to office productivity.

Innovative AI-powered features like Windows Studio Effects and the ASUS AiSense camera improve user interaction by offering functions such as Adaptive Dimming — which dims the screen when the user looks away — and Adaptive Lock, which secures the device when the user steps away. The Vivobook S 15 also debuts ASUS’s exclusive AI app, StoryCube, designed to intelligently manage and edit digital assets.

The ASUS Vivobook S 15 boasts a 14.7 mm thin, 1.42 kg light all-metal body, combining strength with elegance. Its high-capacity 70 Wh battery offers up to 18 hours of use, supported by fast charging and ASUS USB-C Easy Charge, allowing for versatile charging options.

Comprehensive connectivity and exceptional visuals

The laptop features a full array of I/O ports, including two USB4 ports, HDMI 2.1, and a microSD card slot, enhancing its utility for high-speed connectivity and multimedia tasks. The WiFi 7 capability ensures rapid online speeds, facilitating smoother streaming and more efficient downloads.

The 15.6-inch 3K 120 Hz ASUS Lumina OLED display offers a stunning visual experience, complemented by a Harman Kardon-certified audio system with Dolby Atmos, creating an immersive audiovisual environment. The launch of the ASUS Vivobook S 15 highlights ASUS’s commitment to pushing the boundaries of technology, combining cutting-edge AI capabilities with exceptional design and functionality.

The ASUS Vivobook S 15 OLED (S5507QA-MA056W) is now available for pre-order and will be available on July 5 for S$2,199 at the ASUS Exclusive Store, ASUS Online Store, and all authorised retailers.
