ASUS introduces new Prime GeForce RTX graphics cards for various PC sizes

ASUS unveils the new Prime GeForce RTX graphics cards, featuring top-tier cooling and seamless integration with the ASUS Prime ecosystem.

ASUS today announced the launch of the Prime graphics card family, which begins with the Prime GeForce RTX 4070 SUPER, Prime GeForce RTX 4070, and Prime GeForce RTX 4060 Ti. These cards are designed for budget-conscious PC enthusiasts, featuring a triple-fan cooling solution and a slim profile ideal for small-form-factor (SFF) builds, while perfectly complementing the cost-effective ASUS Prime ecosystem.

Efficient construction for powerful, compact PCs

ASUS’s new cards support the growing trend of constructing powerful PCs within compact spaces through the NVIDIA GeForce SFF-Ready programme. This initiative ensures that SFF-ready cases and graphics cards are compatible, making the building process more straightforward for enthusiasts. The Prime GeForce RTX 4070 SUPER and Prime GeForce RTX 4070, with their dimensions of just 50 mm thick and 269 mm long, adhere to NVIDIA’s SFF PC guidelines, ensuring they fit perfectly in smaller spaces.

Advanced cooling technologies for optimal performance

The slim Prime GeForce RTX 4070 SUPER, Prime GeForce RTX 4070, and Prime GeForce RTX 4060 Ti are packed with effective cooling technologies. Each card is equipped with three Axial-tech fans, which include nine blades and a barrier ring that enhances downward air pressure. Coupled with a vented backplate that facilitates better airflow, these features help maintain low noise and temperature levels. The cards also boast 0 dB technology, allowing the fans to stop completely under light loads, and a Dual BIOS switch, giving users the choice between performance and quiet modes.

Seamless integration within the Prime ecosystem

The design of these graphics cards integrates seamlessly with the ASUS Prime ecosystem. The Prime family is characterised by its minimalist black-and-white colour scheme and subtle futuristic design elements. This aesthetic is shared across the Prime family of PC DIY components, including the Prime X670E-Pro WiFi motherboard, which offers a budget-friendly base for anyone building a next-gen AMD PC.

Additionally, the ASUS Prime ecosystem recently expanded to include the Prime AP201 chassis, available in a microATX format with options for either tempered glass or a mesh side panel and the first Prime AIO liquid CPU cooler.

Empowering users with GPU Tweak III

The latest iteration of ASUS GPU Tweak III software provides extensive customisation options, allowing users to manage their graphics card’s performance and noise levels easily. This includes preset modes for enhancing power or reducing noise and the ability to establish custom profiles for different games. One of the standout features of GPU Tweak III is the Mobile Monitor, which lets users oversee their graphics card’s performance via a mobile device, thus avoiding gameplay disruption. Enhanced VF Tuner, a more user-friendly interface, and an integrated GPU-Z interface for accessing detailed GPU information without additional installations are also part of the latest software updates.

The Prime GeForce RTX 4070 SUPER, Prime GeForce RTX 4070, and Prime GeForce RTX 4060 Ti present exciting new choices for mainstream gaming setups. They combine robust cooling solutions, long-lasting performance, and a natural fit within the stylish ASUS Prime component range.
