ASUS today announced the ASUS Zenfone 8, the latest, fastest and most compact generation of the innovative Zenfone smartphone family. The ASUS Zenfone 8 is a high-performance 5.9-inch smartphone with a pocket-friendly design that’s exceptionally easy to use and carry. It’s also the proud recipient of a prestigious 2021 Red Dot Product Design Award, an award that recognizes high design quality.

Powered by the latest flagship Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 5G Mobile Platform, with Adreno 660 graphics, up to 16 GB RAM and 256 GB storage, the small size of ASUS Zenfone 8 belies the fact that it’s also the most powerful Zenfone to date.

The fast and responsive 5.9-inch 120 Hz Samsung AMOLED display delivers smooth-scrolling, blur-free visuals, and is HDR10+ certified. For the ultimate protection, the display is covered with the latest and toughest Corning Gorilla Glass Victus.

A powerful high-capacity 4000 mAh battery with a 30-watt HyperCharge adapter keeps the ASUS Zenfone 8 going for longer, and there are several automatic battery modes in System Mode to allow users to optimize for battery life or performance as needed.

The professional-grade camera system in the ASUS Zenfone 8 uses all-Sony sensors, and includes rear dual cameras with a 64 MP IMX686 wide-angle main camera and a 12 MP IMX363 ultrawide-angle secondary camera. The 12MP front punch-hole autofocus camera uses the latest IMX663 sensor, allowing users to take sharp and crisp selfies at any angles.

The ASUS Zenfone 8 is a compact performer with premium looks, and it is designed to be supremely comfortable to hold and carry. Its dimensions and the new ZenUI 8 user interface are optimised for one-handed operation, and the lightweight, ultra-compact chassis features a 3D-curved back with a brand-new frosted-glass finish that aids grip and resists fingerprints.

  • The compact performer: Superb performance, powered by the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 5G Mobile Platform with Adreno 660 GPU
  • 120 Hz AMOLED display: Vivid 5.9″ display delivers silky-smooth scrolling, and is protected by the latest Corning Gorilla Glass Victus
  • Powerful 4000 mAh battery: Long-lasting power, with support for Quick Charge and PD fast charging, plus automatic power modes for optimized performance
  • Front and rear pro-grade cameras: Dual rear camera with 64 MP main and 12 MP ultrawide cameras, with 12 MP punch-hole front camera
  • Perfectly pocketable design: Compact, sleek and easy-to-handle size designed for ultimate portability and comfortable one-handed operation
