Apple Intelligence could come to Vision Pro in April

Apple could bring Apple Intelligence to Vision Pro in April, but a long-awaited Siri upgrade may face delays due to engineering issues.

According to Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman, Apple is planning to bring its Apple Intelligence features to the Vision Pro headset, with an update expected as early as April.

Apple Intelligence to enhance Vision Pro

Just weeks after Apple first announced Apple Intelligence in June 2024, reports surfaced that the company was working on integrating these AI-driven tools into the Vision Pro. However, questions remained about how these features would adapt to a mixed reality environment.

Apple is reportedly planning to introduce Apple Intelligence in the visionOS 2.4 update. This update will include Writing Tools, Genmoji, and Image Playground. Developers could gain early access to a software version this week.

Siri upgrade may be delayed

While Apple Intelligence will enhance Vision Proโ€™s capabilities, the update reportedly will not include an upgraded Siri. Gurman has also suggested that a long-awaited Siri improvement could be pushed back due to engineering challenges and software bugs.

If Apple Intelligence arrives on Vision Pro in April, it could be a significant step forward in AI-driven mixed reality experiences. However, the absence of a Siri upgrade may leave some users waiting longer for a more advanced voice assistant.
